Homespace Pay handles every dollar from job close to bank deposit. Payments process through Stripe in the background — your customers never need a Stripe account. You accept major cards, ACH bank transfers, Apple Pay, and Google Pay from a single interface, with all fees, deposits, and refunds syncing automatically to QuickBooks.
You must connect a bank account before you can accept any payments. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Payments > Connect Bank to complete setup.

Connecting your bank account

Before you can accept payments or receive payouts, you need to connect a bank account.
1

Open Settings

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Payments.
2

Click Connect Bank

Select Connect Bank and you will be redirected to the Stripe onboarding flow. Your business details are pre-filled from your Homespace profile.
3

Complete Stripe verification

Stripe will ask for your business type, EIN or SSN, and bank account details. This typically takes under five minutes. Your customers never interact with Stripe directly.
4

Wait for approval

Stripe reviews your account in the background. Once approved, charges enabled will show as active in Settings, and you can begin accepting payments immediately.

Dispute protection

Homespace automatically assembles a chargeback rebuttal package for every job that ends in a signed invoice. The package includes:
  • The signed estimate
  • Before and after photos attached to the job
  • The signed invoice with payment record
If a customer disputes a charge, Stripe submits this package on your behalf. You do not need to take any action.
Requiring before and after photos in the Field app (per job type) maximizes your dispute protection. Jobs with complete photo sets have the strongest rebuttal packages.

QuickBooks reconciliation

Homespace keeps a two-way sync with QuickBooks. Every payout, processing fee, and refund maps automatically to your chart of accounts. Month-end reconciliation requires no manual export or import — the books update as transactions settle.

Accept in-person payments with Tap to Pay

Turn your iPhone into a payment terminal. Accept contactless cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay at the job site — no card reader or extra hardware needed.

Track your Homespace payouts and deposit schedule

See every deposit, when it arrives, and which transactions it includes. Homespace pays out the same business day for payments processed before 5 PM PT.
