The Apps page is the central registry for every Homespace product available to your business. Use it to see what your plan includes, search the catalog, and control which apps appear in your sidebar, Home tabs, and command palette. Go to Dashboard > Apps to open the registry.
Toggling an app off only hides it from your workspace UI. It does not change your subscription, your data, or your plan entitlements. You can re-enable an app at any time without losing settings or history.

What you can do from the Apps page

  • Browse every product in the Homespace catalog as a card with name, description, and price.
  • Filter the catalog by suite — Core, Sales, Operations, Billing, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Search apps by name, description, or capability.
  • Toggle individual apps on or off for your workspace.
  • See your current access label (Included or Trialing) on each card.

Browse and filter the catalog

Apps are grouped into suites in the left sidebar. Click any suite to filter the grid, or click All to view the full catalog.

CoreCustomers, Pricebook
SalesEstimates, Invoices

Use the Search field at the top of the page to filter by app name, description, or included capability (for example, “tap to pay” or “calendar”).

Toggle an app on or off

Each app card has a switch that controls whether the app appears in your workspace UI.
1

Find the app

Use the suite filters or search to locate the app you want to change.
2

Flip the switch

Click the toggle in the bottom-left corner of the card. The change applies immediately to your sidebar, Home tabs, command palette, and AI assistant suggestions.
3

Confirm the change

A toast at the bottom of the screen confirms the app was enabled or disabled. If the change fails, the toggle reverts and an error message appears.
Disabling an app you do not use — for example, Recurring services if you only run one-off jobs — keeps your sidebar focused on the work you actually do day to day.

What changes when you toggle an app

When you turn an app off, Homespace hides it from:
  • The main left sidebar
  • Home tabs (Requests, Estimates, Invoices, Scheduling, Recurring services)
  • The command palette (Cmd/Ctrl + K)
  • AI assistant action suggestions
When you turn an app back on, every entry point returns instantly — no refresh required.

Apps that cannot be toggled

A few apps are part of every Homespace workspace and cannot be disabled:
  • Customers — required for estimates, jobs, and invoicing.
  • Pricebook — required for estimates and invoices.
These apps show as Included with the toggle disabled. Apps that depend on other products are also locked until the prerequisites are enabled. For example, Recurring services requires Customers, Invoices, and Payments. The card shows the missing dependency so you know what to enable first.

Access labels

Each card shows a badge in the top-right corner that reflects how you have access to the app:
BadgeMeaning
IncludedThe app is part of your active plan.
TrialingThe app is available during your free trial. After the trial ends, it follows your plan’s entitlements.

Frequently asked questions

No. Toggles only control workspace visibility. Your plan, billing, and entitlements stay the same. To change your plan, go to Settings > Billing.
No. All records — customers, estimates, invoices, jobs — remain in your account. They reappear exactly as they were when you re-enable the app.
Yes. App visibility is a workspace setting. Any admin can change it from the Apps page.
A toggle is disabled when the app is a core part of every workspace (like Customers) or when its prerequisites are not yet enabled. The card shows the reason inline.
