# Accept payments and get paid same day

> Accept cards, ACH, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Homespace deposits funds the same business day — no 3-day wait — with automatic QuickBooks reconciliation.

Homespace Pay handles every dollar from job close to bank deposit. Payments process through Stripe in the background — your customers never need a Stripe account. You accept major cards, ACH bank transfers, Apple Pay, and Google Pay from a single interface, with all fees, deposits, and refunds syncing automatically to QuickBooks.

  You must connect a bank account before you can accept any payments. Go to **Dashboard > Settings > Payments > Connect Bank** to complete setup.

## Payment methods accepted

Homespace supports the payment methods your customers actually use.

| Method              | Description                                                |

| Credit / debit card | All major card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) |
| ACH bank transfer   | Direct bank-to-bank transfer; best for large invoices      |
| Apple Pay           | NFC wallet via iPhone, iPad, or Safari on Mac              |
| Google Pay          | NFC wallet or in-browser on Android and Chrome             |

## Same-day deposits

Payments collected before **5 PM PT** on a business day typically arrive in your connected bank account the same day. There is no 3-day holding period. Funds are listed as "In transit" in the Payouts dashboard while processing and appear in your bank the same evening.

## Processing rates

All rates apply to payments processed through Homespace. There are no setup fees, monthly minimums, or hidden charges for refunds, disputes, or payouts.

## Connecting your bank account

Before you can accept payments or receive payouts, you need to connect a bank account.

    Go to **Dashboard > Settings > Payments**.

    Select **Connect Bank** and you will be redirected to the Stripe onboarding flow. Your business details are pre-filled from your Homespace profile.

  <Step title="Complete Stripe verification">
    Stripe will ask for your business type, EIN or SSN, and bank account details. This typically takes under five minutes. Your customers never interact with Stripe directly.

  <Step title="Wait for approval">
    Stripe reviews your account in the background. Once approved, **charges enabled** will show as active in Settings, and you can begin accepting payments immediately.

## Dispute protection

Homespace automatically assembles a chargeback rebuttal package for every job that ends in a signed invoice. The package includes:

* The signed estimate
* Before and after photos attached to the job
* The signed invoice with payment record

If a customer disputes a charge, Stripe submits this package on your behalf. You do not need to take any action.

<Tip>
  Requiring before and after photos in the Field app (per job type) maximizes your dispute protection. Jobs with complete photo sets have the strongest rebuttal packages.

## QuickBooks reconciliation

Homespace keeps a two-way sync with QuickBooks. Every payout, processing fee, and refund maps automatically to your chart of accounts. Month-end reconciliation requires no manual export or import — the books update as transactions settle.
